Josalynn earned her BA in English Literature at Washington University in St. Louis. She has had films in St. Louis International Film Festival and Queer Fest St. Louis and is the recipient of the Jesse Thompkins III Screenwriting Award from Columbia University, and more recently, a finalist for SFFILM’s Alfred P. Sloan Fellowship for her feature script Something in the Water. In her spare time, Josalynn enjoys reading Jacobin articles, planning fantasy vacations, and playing guitar.
