Emily Alexander
I manage projects across the Milstein Center, BLAIS, and the broader Barnard campus. I also serve as main point of contact related to programming logistics, including processing honoraria, scheduling, and assessments.
I have a MA in Exhibition Studies from San Francisco Arts Institute and my BA from The New School. My focus is photography and new media and I have worked for over a decade as an educator and film programmer for organizations including Pace Gallery, Made in NY Media Center, and Children’s Museum of the Arts. Most recently, I was an academic administrator for California College of the Arts in San Francisco. In 2020, as a response to the COVID pandemic, I started a business that produces outdoor film screenings. You can learn more about that on the Glowworm Events website.
