IMATS has changed our event documentation services for the 2021-2022 school year. We do not support lecture capture anymore and we now offer event photography. Please see our BookMe to set a time to speak with a staff member via phone or in-person about your needs.
This service is for Barnard-affiliated faculty and staff ONLY. IMATS does not provide event documentation services for student groups or individual students.
For course lectures, we recommend that faculty utilize zoom recordings. Faculty members check out tips for recording on our Faculty Zoom Recordings page. IMATS staff can provide training and upload the file to CourseWorks later on.
Events & Performances
If you'd like to have an event recorded, review our guidelines below:
Events cannot exceed 3 hours.
All video shoots will be recorded with 1 stationary camera. We will not be able to accommodate 2-camera shoots or handheld camera operations.
A digital file of the event will made available for download via Google Drive for 1 month after the event.
We are now offering event photography services:
A photographer will attend a portion of the event to take pictures
Only basic edits, like color correction, will be done in advance of turning over media files
You cannot request both videography and photography for one event.
Events booked with Events Managements through EMS must also have separate video requests placed through the Video/Photo Request Form.
IMATS does not provide livestreaming services.
